Orthopedics, also called orthopedic surgery, medical specialty concerned with the preservation and restoration of function of the skeletal system and its associated structures, i.e., spinal and other bones, joints, and muscles. Orthopaedic surgeons are devoted to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles. Some orthopaedists are generalists, while others specialize in certain areas of the body, such as: Hip and knee. Foot and ankle. Pelvi-Acetabular surgery, Hand Surgery, Minimally Invasive surgeries in Trauma and Spine.

An orthopedic problem is any kind of ailment, injury, pain, or disorder that is linked to the human musculoskeletal system. There are many orthopedic disorders, that are painful & often life-threatening.
